Swine flu, though it is a particularly virulent virus, should not necessitate widespread panic in people. should you have the infection, you should remain at home, not travel to your local gp, but contact them via the telephone to receive advice on this issue and they will deal with your concerns accordingly relative to your age, your situation, whether you are pregnant for example, and the seriousness of your symptoms. you may also phone nhs direct - or the new flu phone line. seek medical help on the issue, but remain calm, and do not visit your gp in person unless you are invited or asked to do so. the flu recovery time will differ from person to person, but should last in the region of 1week with proper assistance and treatment the attached video should help alleviate some of your concerns.

I believe your treatment if you are feeling unwell should be completely determined by your doctor.
if you have already gone through tests which have proved you do indeed have swine flu, you do need to be cautious.
you need to have plenty of rest. you can also receive anti viral treatment to help make your symptoms milder, ask your doctor.
as it varies from person to person, due to health and age, you should stay home till your symptoms are gone. this ensures you are properly resting and not spreading swine flu to everyone around you.
at home, wash your hands frequently and take precautions to not spread it to anyone in your home.
i hope you feel better soon.
have a look at this video for more information on swine flu.
